The Author

Samuel K Wood overthought nearly everything for a long time, eventually understood why, and wrote this book because the understanding changed something worth sharing. He is not a therapist, a monk, or a productivity expert.

He lives in Northern California, where he works with his hands, building things slowly, one piece at a time. He makes a good omelette. He sleeps better than he used to. His dog has never once overthought a decision and is better for it.
